this is precisely how i feel about common law

tbh the only reason i watched it in the first place was because i like looking at ealy’s face (mostly those eyes though omg) but the premise is so dumb and all of the patronizing slashy undertones paired with the characters constantly reiterating the fact that they’re totally not gay (which is stupid because they’re two dudes in a COUPLES counseling session; it’s not a stretch for the people there to assume that they’re gay) just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It doesn’t help that both of the characters are extremely unlikable, either. Warren Kole’s character has to have at least 6 sticks up his ass, I swear, and Michael Ealy’s character just pops off his gun at everything he sees for no fucking reason. Also the show is terribly, aggressively unfunny. lol no redeeming qualites
